Grizzly's Academy offers aspiring barbers the opportunity to learn within an award-winning working barbershop, surrounded by experienced professionals and real clients.

Based in Billingshurst, more than 20 barbers have started their careers through apprenticeship training delivered from our premises, with many progressing into successful careers at Grizzly's and barbershops across Sussex and beyond.

An apprenticeship at Grizzly's Academy offers the opportunity to develop your barbering skills inside an award-winning working barbershop while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

Working with real clients from the very beginning, you'll build confidence, technical ability and professionalism while gaining invaluable experience in a busy salon environment.

Places are limited each year to ensure every apprentice benefits from a high level of support, practical experience and mentoring throughout their apprenticeship.

Our intensive five-day refresher course is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment, helping qualified barbers improve confidence, consistency and employability.
